Ph. D. M. Zeki Karagülle A brief looking at the history of thermal spring would be useful to understand the development of thermal springs in the USA in these 20 years. A possible source for the term spa would be in Latin "Salus per Aqua" and means "health with water" or "health coming from water". Spa at the same time is a name of a village which has springs of hot mineral water in Belgium.
